DBN Group 大北农 (SZ 002385)
Профиль
DBN Group (Beijing DBN Technology Group Co., Ltd., SZ 002385) is a leading Chinese agricultural technology company founded in 1993 by Dr. Shao Genhuo. Headquartered in Beijing, it is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The company operates across four core segments: seed development (specializing in GM corn and soybean traits), animal feed, hog farming, and veterinary vaccines. It is a major player in China’s seed industry, ranking third in national commodity seed sales in 2024. DBN is actively expanding its “tech-out, grain-in” strategy, securing international regulatory approvals for its soybean traits in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and the European Union.
As of 2026, DBN remains highly active, pursuing an aggressive expansion into the Brazilian biotech market with a goal to capture 30% of the soybean seed trait market by 2038. In the first half of 2026, the company reported 13.81 billion RMB in revenue. While it faces cyclical pressure in its hog and feed segments, it continues to invest in digital management and R&D to improve operational efficiency.
